Ocean
Accounting

    Ocean is a complete, enterprise wide, General Ledger accounting system, with tightly integrated modules for A/P and A/R. Ocean's intuitive MS-Windows graphical user interface (GUI) makes all features easily accessible with just a few clicks of the mouse. Navigating through Ocean and locating the information you need couldn't be easier. From any field, anywhere in the system, the user can drill down through the various levels of supporting information. Whenever possible, fields and list boxes have search capabilities to make finding information easier. You can even find things just by knowing what they sound like!

    Ocean is entirely table-driven, allowing you to use an unlimited number of currencies (even different exchange rates for the same currency). Ocean handles the complex process of issuing and receiving transactions in numerous currencies, and tracks exchange rates by specific codes to allow multiple exchange rates for a single day. For enterprises requiring a multi-lingual solution, all of Ocean's screen displayed text is contained in tables for easy translation. No changes are required to the program - we simply plug in the translated table.

    General Journal transactions can be standard, recurring, auto reversing, clearing and "quick journal" entries - and all transactions are balanced before posting to the Genera Ledger. Ocean even allows for unbalanced transactions to be saved without posting so that you may create a partially complete entry and balance it later.  Ocean features on line balancing of Purchase Journal, Disbursement Journal, and General Journal. If you don't know how to balance and entry, Ocean will make a suggestion!

    Accounts Payable is traditionally on to the most labor-intensive parts of any accounting system. Ocean A/P, however, is conceived with better automation and controls than any other system on the market. Ocean A/P enables 1, 2 or way matching of the supplier invoice; generates receiving and confirming purchase orders; features fuzzy logic alpha searches; is capable of handling multiple currencies; and gives you instant drill down integration to the General Ledger.

    Flexibility, account control and improved collection are just a few of the benefits you'll enjoy with Ocean's Accounts Receivable. Ocean A/R has all the essential features you would expect from a complete A/R system, including flexible credit terms; aging; multi-currency support; sold-to, ship-to and bill-to; fuzzy logic alpha searches; categorization and historical information.

    Ocean integrates all bank transactions and automates the reconciliation process. Ocean's efficient, flexible reconciliation process allows you to enter book-to-bank adjustments, receipts, checks, withdrawals and increase/decrease adjustments directly during bank reconciliation.

Inventory Control

    Ocean Inventory Control system is easily customized to suit any business. Units of measure (UOM) are unlimited and completely user defined. From widgets to miles to ounces, abstract units of measurement allows you to purchase, invoice, and receive any type of product no matter how it is packaged.  Ay given product can be purchased in one UOM, stored in inventory in a second UOM, and then sold in a third.

    Ocean automates the process of issuing and managing purchase orders, and receiving items tracked by purchase orders. You can auto receive items, update vendor and item records automatically, and manage purchases for multiple sites on a single purchase order.

    Ocean's purchasing system features one, two or three way matching. In three way matching, the purchase order, invoice and receiving document for a given order must match (exactly, or within user defined tolerance). Invoices and receiving documents which don't match the purchase order are automatically identified by Ocean so they can be checked for accuracy.

    Ocean makes ordering easier by automatically determining which vendor is offering the best price for a given product and quantity, even when complex price break levels and quantity discounts are involved. Should you approve Ocean's choice, the purchase order will be generated automatically.

Distribution

    Ocean's Distribution system gives you the tools and information you need to accomplish  on-time delivery, accurate purchasing, and instant customer satisfaction. Ocean Distribution handles order entry and distribution to warehouses or multiple ship-to destinations. Ocean even automatically verifies the client's credit limit at order entry and at invoicing.

    Thanks to Ocean's EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) features, ordering and invoicing is immediate and automatic. Manual invoices can be printed selectively or by batch. Ocean's ability to handle pre packs simplifies repetitive tasks and raised you productivity.

Manufacturing

    Ocean's Manufacturing system provides the user with detailed product costing and production scheduling features. Identify the raw materials and their relative quantities required to produce and item. Items can be labeled as imports or local produced, and incorporated departmental labor costs. You can also apply exclusivity and discounts to specific customers.

    Ocean Manufacturing gives you complete flexibility in selecting suppliers for individual components, along with their specific prices. Other featured include unlimited size/color combinations with UPC bar-coding and cross-reference, as well as drill downs to view material, Work In Progress (WIP), quantity on-hand, and sales orders.
